Consign her with Barefaced Bridal and we’ll take care of the selling – presenting her in our Sutherland Shire boutique, promoting her across our socials and introducing her to potential brides during private bridal appointments.
You receive 60%-70% of the final sale price, depending on her original retail value and the price she sells for.

We consign beautiful designer and recognised couture gowns with a story still to tell – whether she’s been down the aisle or never made it out of the garment bag.
We’re generally looking for gowns less than five years old, with an original RRP of $2,500 or more, in excellent condition and with strong appeal for today’s bride.
Our collection is curated with our brides in mind. Designer, silhouette, size, condition and current demand all play a part in deciding which gowns join our rails. We know every gown – and every story – is different. Our criteria aren’t designed to be a rigid checklist.

Not every gown comes to us with the same story. Some have made it down the aisle, some never left the garment bag, and others come to us as unworn bridal samples. Wherever yours has been, tell her her story.Â

She’ll need to be professionally dry cleaned before joining our rails. We can take care of that.

Changed your mind? Changed your plans? Found another dress? Unworn gowns are very welcome on our rails.
DESIGNER SAMPLE?
Making room on your rails? We also welcome designer sample gowns from bridal boutiques, provided they’re in excellent condition.

PRE-LOVED
A beautiful gown, at a price that makes sense for her next bride.
We generally recommend listing pre-loved gowns at least 60% below their original retail price. Designer, age, condition and current demand all influence our final recommendation.
A NEW CHAPTER, AT A BEAUTIFUL PRICE.
UNWORN
Never made it down the aisle? She holds a little more value.
Brand-new, unworn gowns are generally listed at least 15% below their original retail price, depending on the designer, age, condition and current demand.
NEVER WORN. STILL WAITING FOR HER MOMENT.
EVERY GOWN IS DIFFERENT.
We’ll recommend an initial listing price and agree on a minimum sale price with you before your gown joins our collection.
Your share of the sale:
- 70% to you / 30% to Barefaced when the gown’s original RRP exceeds $10,000 and its final sale price exceeds $5,000.
- 60% to you / 40% to Barefaced for all other gowns and sales.
Your gown will never be sold below the minimum price agreed with you in writing.

THE GOWN
We accept designer and recognised couture wedding gowns with an original RRP of $2,500 or more, generally less than five years old.Â
She’ll need to be in excellent condition and ready for her next bride. Every gown is individually assessed, and acceptance is at Barefaced Bridal’s discretion.
THE DETAILS
We’ll ask for proof of purchase and at least three clear photos when you submit your gown.
If she’s been worn, she’ll need to be professionally dry-cleaned before joining our collection.
Once accepted, she’ll need to arrive protected in a garment bag or box.
THE CONSIGNMENT
Our consignment fee is $125 per gown, payable when booking your drop-off appointment following acceptance.
Gowns with an original RRP $10,000 or less have an initial six-month term. Gowns over $10,000 have an initial twelve-month term.
Your consignment term begins on the Monday following your drop-off appointment.
The fee is non-refundable once your gown is accepted for consignment, except that if she is found unsuitable during physical inspection, 75% of the fee will be refunded.
Your gown will be handled with care throughout her time with us. As she’ll be available for brides to try on during private appointments, some reasonable wear associated with fittings should be expected.
