Emerald & lace garden wedding inspiration | Hopewood House | Bowral, Southern Highlands

The concept for this shoot was inspired by Pantone’s recently voted colour of the year; Emerald green, which has been described as “a colour of beauty and elegance…”. My inspiration then, was to showcase a selection of unique one-of-a-kind vintage dresses from the 1960s and 70s set against the manicured lush green gardens of Hopewood Country House, a stunning family-owned estate property in the Southern Highlands, NSW.

I wanted to let the dresses speak for themselves while adding pretty elements such as period headpieces and veils, vintage-styled floral bouquets and greenery arrangements as well yummy vanilla macaroon treats and orange cardamon glitter-gold cookies.
We think incorporating vintage pieces to your big day gives a personal touch as each gown has a history and story which evokes a sense of romance and old-world charm. Nothing quite says timeless elegant than delicate vintage lace!
